Our Burghfield oak flooring is unfinished allowing you to tailor the floor to your own requirements, using one of the many stains, oils or lacquers available on the market.
The overall 20mm thickness reinforces the durability of your floor and provides a wearable 6mm veneer that can be sanded and re-finished over the lifespan of your engineered flooring. Each pack of Burghfield comes in a fixed length (excluding any starter boards) of 1900mm and may contain starter boards to allow you to stagger your layout. Our mixed grade Burghfield is hardwearing and beautiful with its luxurious oak tones and natural appearance.
The easy tongue and groove method makes the process of fitting the floor accessible for all. This engineered oak would usually be fitted as a floating floor installation, where an underlay is laid onto the subfloor beneath the flooring, this gives added protection from any damp and will act as a sound barrier and insulator. Each pack of our Burghfield engineered oak flooring contains enough boards to cover 1.805m². An unfinished floor is not impermeable and may not be suitable for spillages without using a finishing product.
